WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — More than 100 kids got the chance to see how some of their favorite electronics worked Tuesday. Kids from all over the area met with Best Buy's Geek Squad at ECC North Campus as part of their Geek Squad Summer Academy.

The program, which is in its sixth year, teaches kids about computer programming, robot building, and safe Internet use. In addition, kids also meet new people.

"The whole piece of this is that they gain friends. Kids are broken up into age and gender so they make new friends," said Christine Carr, executive director of Computers for Children. The camp runs through the rest of this week.
